Happy Holidays!

24 Dec

Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season and a great new year!!!!

Los Angeles Portrait Photography – Boys Will Be Boys

21 Dec

Here’s another family portrait session that I did this month – the Namazie Family.

The two boys are super energetic and fun, and they love trains and racetracks.  Actually the boys had to explain to me the difference between the two (apparently I can’t tell them apart!)

At the end of the shoot, the little one took my hand and was ready to leave with me.  I think he’s going to grow up to be a ladies’ man!  🙂

Groupon Deal – $50 Portrait Session in Los Angeles!

18 Dec

I’m launching my first ever Groupon Deal!

Many friends have mentioned Groupon to me for the past few months, and I decided to check it out myself yesterday.  Turns out that they have all kinds of cool deals: Segway ride, Food Tour, Pole Dancing class?! Pretty awesome.  So I decide to start my own Groupon store and launch a deal too!  It’s a mini portrait session (30 minutes) for up to 3 guests (so you and your friends can all chip in for the $50 price- totally affordable!), redeemable for up to 6 months after purchase.  I think this will be a great way to meet new people in the LA area!

Here’s the link to the Groupon deal:

Looking forward to meeting you!

Los Angeles Family Portrait – the Funny Wang Family

16 Dec

I’ve known the Wangs for at least 20 years.  Every time I see them, our conversations always goes back to one thing:  FOOD.  We love food.  As I was shooting their family portrait, we were already discussing where to go for dinner after the shoot (by the way, it was Teppanyaki!)

The incredibly lively and colorful energy definitely transferred to the images.  Everybody was laughing and coming up with more funny poses.  Even the dogs were giggling!

This is the formal pose. Soon after all hell broke loose!

Girl power!

Sam the dog couldn't wait to be in the photo. He's great at holding his poses too!

Los Angeles Family Portraits ~

15 Dec

As the weather gets colder (it’s considered “cold” for a Californian chick like me anytime it’s under 65 degrees!), wedding season winds down and portrait season begins.

In the month of December, I’ve been so busy with family portraits lately that I haven’t had time to blog.  But what I love about shooting family portraits for Christmas is meeting all the cool kids.   It’s totally true that they have a mind of their own.  And if you listen to them, they are REALLY wise!

Here are some of the awesome kids I met:

These two sisters are the most adorable girls I've ever met!

Isabelle is smart and precocious and full of imagination!

And Collette is just a happy baby. Nothing phases her.
